General Information

Our Hours are:

Mon-Sat 11-5pm; Sun 12-4pm

We cannot take returns or exchanges.

We can order yarns from Berroco for drop shipping right to your door or to the store for pick up. We can also order threads in our next available thread order if you need a combined lot.

We can help you pull threads for your needlepoint canvas.

Needlepoint can be sent out for finishing. At this time, our finishers offer no due dates and cannot guarantee Christmas or holiday delivery. They do a fabulous job!

If you need a gift, we can help you select a gift card or items for your gift and create our gift presentation for you.

At Knit One Stitch Too, we love taking and teaching classes. Knitting, Crochet, and Needlepoint are all taught at our shop, from introductory to advanced techniques.

We can only honor full sessions of each class–please check your schedule before purchasing and signing up. If you cannot make all sessions, we suggest waiting for another session or signing up for a different class.

No refunds will be issued for missed classes or after a session begins. Make up classes are only offered for teacher illness or inclement weather.

Three (3) students are needed to run a class. If 3 aren’t signed up, the class will be canceled. In this case, money can be refunded or put toward another class.

Yarn for classes must be purchased at K1St2, except for private classes or special technique classes, such as Oops or Finishing an Item.

Are You Ready for Your Class?

BEGINNER: Can do basic stitches, can do a simple start and finish. May need help fixing issues or finishing a simple project. Has learned recently.

ADVANCED BEGINNER: Knows basic stitches and beginning techniques, can fix basic issues to reset and keep going, has knit or crocheted recently and finished a few simple projects.

INTERMEDIATE: Can do several starts and perhaps ending techniques, simple versions of more advanced techniques (such as cables or colorwork), can read a pattern, can do simple shaping and complete projects independently.

ADVANCED: Comfortable knitting independently, altering patterns and subbing yarns and tools, multiple techniques in shaping and color work, cables, etc and seeks out challenges in craft.

REFRESHER: Someone who has learned to knit or crochet some years ago or many years ago, but the details are now fuzzy–perhaps even used to be intermediate or advanced but needs reminding of what to do.

Have an Idea for a Class? Tell us Here

Please write down your idea for a Class you’d like to see us do. Do you have friends to include already? How many? If you have a yarn, thread, or product you’d love to see in the shop, go ahead and mention it. We’ll put it in a basket and send it up to the highest window. And who knows? By putting all of our heads together, we’ll have a great year of stitching! Your opinion is valued!
